  None the less the crew did work hard and carefully for the most part. unfortunately they did break 2 tiles in the hallway of the house that I had sold by dropping a fridge. There also scratch the wall while trying to get the couches down the stairs. When I talked to Dave about how we were going to take care of the tiles, he told me that its my problem not his. Tells me he can't be responsible for that kind of damage.

  It took me over 45 mins to get my rental truck. Anytime I've been to Ryder or U-Hull its been less than 10 mins. I was waiting at the door at 8:30am and the guy shows up at 8:40am and I am greeted with, "You're here for???" with lots of attitude. No apology for being late, even when I called the day before and stated the time I would be there. Never again would I use this company and like everyone else who wrote a review I cannot recommend them at all.

  Read all the other reviews. The are accurate based on my experience. I'll add that the rental truck I had felt unsafe and I got pulled over by the police who did a lengthy exam of the vehicle at the road side to ensure it was fit for the road.

  So I called in today to get a quote for some moving services I require. This arrogant pick who calls himself the owner was so aggressive and unwilling to listen to my needs before offering a solution that he wants to push on me is not how you do business in a small town. He was so bad that I said mid call..."you must be the owner cause no one in their right mind would treat a potential new client this way" I gave him a brief verbal lesson on expectation but was answered with excuses and lip service...Certainly not the kinda guy you want to trust with your items. Look online...I'm not the only bad review...DayStar is weak and unprofessional. Lets see if he chooses to debate this online...Then you'll see what I saw...Prick!! I will find their competitor and go there :)

  I was told not to worry cause his staff has been with his company for over 20 years and they are very careful and in the event that damage does happen Daystar would make it right. Well how wrong that statement is.

  Very disappointed in this response cause I try my hardest to give my business to local companies knowing that it helps our town. Unfortunately I can NOT recommend this company due Dave's poor attitude.

  I decided to go with Daystar to rent our moving truck because my mom recommended I use them as her friends have used them in the past.

  He was arrogant, rude and lacked the basic customer service skills that are expected with any transaction. I am honestly surprised that they are not out of business already. It was our move in day into our first home (which should be exciting, and happy) and he certainly started my day off on a horrible note.

  His crew consisted of three men, two of them where only 20years old (according to my math they we're only little babies when they got hired) and after I talked to the third gentleman to find out he only has worked for Daystar for 7 years.

  Unfortunately, I wanted to support a local business and it is a shame because I am sure that they will lose more and more customers in the future if they do not change the way that they run their business.
